    Shelf Middle East drilling contract abbreviated

    Shelf Drilling says a contract for the jackup Shelf Drilling Tenacious will now terminate early in September, 16 months ahead of the originally scheduled date, under a mutually agreed arrangement with Dubai Petroleum.

    DUBAI, UAE – Shelf Drilling says a contract for the jackup Shelf Drilling Tenacious will now terminate early in September, 16 months ahead of the originally scheduled date, under a mutually agreed arrangement with Dubai Petroleum.

    The contract started in the Middle East in early 2018.

    The BMC Pacific Class 375 design jackup will now be available for work on other programs from mid-September.
