    Shelf Drilling lands long-term Middle East contract

    Shelf Drilling has secured a five-year, $236-million contract for its newly acquired Shelf Drilling Victory jackup for operations offshore the Arabian Peninsula.

    DUBAI, UAE — Shelf Drilling has secured a five-year, $236-million contract for its newly acquired Shelf Drilling Victory jackup for operations offshore the Arabian Peninsula.

    Work should start in late March 2023, with options to extend the program by a further two years.

    Prior to commencement, the rig is undergoing a reactivation and upgrade program in the UAE.
