    West Polaris wins one-year contract offshore Asia

    The West Polaris' one-year contract offshore southern Asia is expected to start in 1Q 2020.

    LONDON – Seadrill Partners has secured a one-year contract from an unnamed operator for the drillship West Polaris in southern Asia.

    Total contract value is expected to be about $72 million (including performance incentive and mobilization fees). It is expected to start in 1Q 2020.

    Earlier this week, the West Polaris received a one-well contract from PC Gabon Upstream S.A. This contract is expected to start in September.
