Deepwater Operations 2013: Clariant highlights Depflux-certified chemical technologies

GALVESTON, Texas –Clariant Oil Services is highlighting the capabilities of its DepFlux-certified chemical
technologies on the exhibition floor at the Deepwater Operations conference being held in Galveston
Texas.

The company noted that its DepFlux chemical technologies are high-specification products developed in
its Deepwater Centers of Excellence. Operating in partnership with its customers, Clariant says it
developed and tested DepFlux-certified chemical technologies to help the offshore industry produce
crude oil from deepwater and ultra-deepwater fields.

Clariant says that the DepFlux-certified products are qualified for deepwater applications, and address
the unique challenges faced by deepwater operators, including:
•   Hydrate inhibitors
•   Asphaltene inhibitors/dispersants
•   Wax inhibitors/pour point depressants
•   Fluid separation
•   Corrosion inhibitors
•   Scale inhibitors
•   Defoamers
•   Multi-functional products.
