HOUSTON — Serica Energy has appointed Chris Cox CEO, effective July 1, with David Latin (chairman of Serica) ceasing his temporary role as interim CEO at the same time. Read more. 

Jean Paul Prates has resigned as Petrobras CEO and as a member of the board of directors. Executive Director of Corporate Affairs Clarice Coppetti has been appointed interim president of the company until the election of a new CEO. Magda Maria de Regina Chambriard will hold the positions of CEO of the company and member of the board of directors. Moreover, Sergio Caetano Leite has been removed from the position of CFO and investor relations officer. Read more. 

Maha Energy AB has appointed Roberto Marchiori CFO. He is succeeding Guilherme Guidolin de Campos, who will remain available to the company and work alongside Marchiori over the first-quarter report. 

Veson Nautical has named Emily Edwards vice president of product for Veson's Data Intelligence technology.

BW Offshore has announced changes to its board of directors. Carl Krogh Arnet will be stepping down from his position as director, and Kees van Seventer has been welcomed as a new board member.

Jadestone Energy has appointed Linda Beal to its board of directors as an independent non-executive director.

Kongsberg Maritime has opened a new facility in Kochi, India, for future assembly of its waterjet products.

Aker Solutions’ consultancy reported plans to double its revenues and headcount by 2030 as it introduces its new name, Entr. Read more. 

Odfjell Technology has acquired Aberdeen-based McGarian TDC, a designer of whipstocks, casing and packer milling, fishing and remedial products. Read more. 

CGG is rebranding and changing its corporate name to Viridien. Read more. 

Hess Corp. announced May 20 that independent proxy voting and corporate governance advisory firm Glass, Lewis & Co. has recommended that Hess shareholders vote "for" the proposed merger with Chevron. 

ABL Group has entered an agreement to acquire energy consultancy Ross Offshore from Moreld Group. It plans to merge Ross with its subsidiary company, combining their capabilities in wells, reservoir operations and other consultancy services. Read more. 

Expro has acquired Coretrax.

Føn Energy Services and Dutch offshore wind farm services company C-Ventus are joining forces to create a European operations and maintenance player within offshore wind. Following the completion of the merger, C-Ventus will operate under the Føn Energy Services brand.

Avantis, a provider of engineering and service solutions, and Zamakona Yards, have formed a collaboration aimed at enhancing yard stay solutions for the marine and drilling contracting industry. 

ABL has launched dedicated training courses to support competence, technical development and reinforce best practices across the oil and gas industry. ABL Training is the rebrand of Add Energy Academy, which consisted of plant operations and maintenance training courses delivered by asset integrity management consultancy Add Energy, which is now part of ABL.
