CAMBRIDGE, UK — AVEVA CEO Peter Herweck will become the next CEO of Schneider Electric on May 4.
Herweck has served in his current AVEVA role since May 2021, and prior to that he served as the company's vice chairman of the board for three years.
"I am excited to take this role, following in the strong footpath of Jean-Pascal Tricoire, under whose leadership Schneider Electric has developed into a global leader in digital, electrification and sustainability," Herweck said on his LinkedIn.
Caspar Herzberg will become AVEVA's new CEO, effective March 1. He has held the role of AVEVA COO since November 2021.
AVEVA, a provider of industrial software, was acquired by Schneider Electric, a specialist in digital automation and energy management, on Jan. 18.
