Shell strengthens collaboration with McDermott

Shell Global Solutions International has awarded McDermott a three-year enterprise framework agreement that covers engineering and procurement and integrated project management team services.

This applies to all facets of McDermott's Low Carbon Solutions, Offshore Middle East, and Subsea and Floating Facilities business lines.

The company’s global engineering centers will help Shell devise and implement feasibility and front-end engineering solutions.

Maurizio Coratella, McDermott's executive vice president and COO, said the arrangement encompassed low-carbon engineering, procurement, construction and installation delivery, technology innovation, fabrication and offshore installation capacity.

McDermott is currently working for Shell on deepwater projects in the US Gulf of Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago, Western Australia, and Malaysia.
