SAN LUIS OBISPO, California -- Crystal Engineering Corp. is offering free proficiency testing services.

The company's gauges as well as the calibration service are available to calibration labs at no charge. As required by ISO17025, Inter-lab comparisons evaluate the performance of calibration test results for the same or similar item by two or more laboratories (in accordance with predetermined conditions). This enables laboratories to assess and demonstrate the reliability of the data through comparison with results from other participating laboratories.

"The feedback that we receive from our customers around the world, particularly standard labs, such as NCSLI, the Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM), the International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ), the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA), the German Institute for Standardization (DIN), and the Standards Council of Canada (SCC), indicated that there is a need for ISO 17025:2005 accredited proficiency testing among calibration labs. We see our products and calibration services filling this lab need," says Tom Halaczkiewicz, president of Crystal Engineering.
