Vallourec signs agreement with Saudi supply chain hub

Vallourec has signed a memorandum of understanding with Advanced Supply Management Operations (ASMO), a joint venture between DHL and Aramco.

ASMO, formed this year, is a procurement and supply chain services hub in Saudi Arabia, serving the MENA region’s energy, chemical and industrial sectors.

It will provide sourcing, procurement, inventory management, logistics, warehousing and a business-to-business e-marketplace. 

Laurent Dubedout, senior vice president of OCTG, Services and Accessories at Vallourec, said the agreement “aligns with Vallourec's ambition toward the digitalization of pipe supply chain management."
