BP Exploration Ltd. has awarded Downhole Products Plc. a contract to provide a comprehensive range of specialist casing and cementing accessories for use in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea.

ABERDEEN, Scotland -- BP Exploration Ltd. has awarded Downhole Products Plc. a contract to provide a comprehensive range of specialist casing and cementing accessories for use in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea.

The five-year, $35 million contract covers a full package of Downhole Products tools, including its solid body centralizers and reamer shoes. The equipment will be used by BP as part of well bore casing and cementing operations.
