(Dublin) The semisubmersiblePetrolia has started its journey from the Cromarty Firth in north-east Scotland to the Seven Heads petroleum lease in Ireland's Celtic Sea. There it will drill the first of two wells in the Irish sector operated by Island Oil & Gas.
After testing a possible westerly extension of the Seven Heads gas field, the rig should move on to target the nearby Old Head of Kinsale prospect, before moving north to drill Inishbeg in the Donegal Basin, where Lundin Oil is the operator.
