bp has awarded the Subsea Integration Alliance (SLB OneSubsea and Subsea7) an EPCI contract for the Ginger project offshore Trinidad and Tobago.
The development is covered under the new global framework agreement established by bp with the alliance. It is designed to encourage system-level optimization via increased transparency and early engagement, Subsea7 said, with aligned incentives for all parties to accelerate and maximize “value creation” throughout the life of their joint projects.
Ginger is offshore Trinidad’s southeast coast in up to 90 m of water. SLB OneSubsea will supply four standardized vertical monobore subsea trees and tubing hangers, engineered for speed of delivery and installation, and the region’s first high-integrity pressure protection system (HIPPS) manifold.
Subsea7’s workscope comprises a diver-installed tie-in system, a flexible production flowline and associated infrastructure. The company has started project management in Houston, with offshore operations set to start in 2026.
