Siemens Power Generation has secured an order for two compressor trains from SOCAR for installation in the Gunashli oil field.

(Caspian Sea) - Siemens Power Generation has secured an order for two compressor trains each comprising one SGT-400 gas turbine driver and a two-body compressor.
They will be installed on an existing platform in the Gunashli oil field in the Azerbaijan waters of the Caspian Sea and will be operated by the State Oil Co. of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).
The units will form part of a new gas compression module, which will be added to prolong the production life of the field.
Delivery of the equipment is scheduled for November 2006.
