MILPITAS, California – Appro says it now has NVIDIA Tesla M2090 GPU computing capability in its Tetra and GreenBlade server platforms and Xtreme-X and HyperPower supercomputers.
Based on CUDA architecture the M2090 gives about 10X higher HPC performance than the latest multi-core CPUs, says Appro.
One target market for this upgrade is compute-dense applications such as seismic processing.
