The scope of the five-year, $116-million contract covers project support, core operations, and maintenance and shutdown support for manned and unmanned offshore installations and onshore gas terminals in the Morecambe Bay area.

AMEC will start the contract transition phase by taking on 100 personnel employed by the previous contractor.

The company will manage the program from its Wynyard office in northeast England.
