Offshore staff
TOKYO, Japan -- Yokogawa Europe has established Yokogawa Norge, a branch office in Norway. The office will support the company's activities in the North West European offshore oil and gas sector.
"Norway has a flourishing economy with strong investments in the oil and gas industry involving all the major oil and gas companies," says Will de Groot, Yokogawa's North West Europe manager and managing director of Yokogawa system center Europe. "The new office will enable us to support our Norwegian customers and the European offshore market better and faster with reliable and fully integrated solutions, allowing us to expand our already strong position in the global market of industrial automation for the
offshore sector."
Yokogawa Norge is located in Sola, close to Stavanger, and will focus on integrated control and safety systems and associated services. The office will work with Leif Kølner Ingeniørfirma, a company in Tønsberg, Norway, that has 40 years of experience in delivering and servicing the Yokogawa instrumentation portfolio in the Norwegian market.
