Dockwise shipping to transport jackups, semisubs, and marine infrastructure

Dockwise Shipping has secured eleven near- and longer-term contracts for the transportation of jackups, semisubmersibles, and port and marine infrastructure.

HAMILTON, Bermuda -- Dockwise Shipping has secured eleven near- and longer-term contracts for the transportation of jackups, semisubmersibles, and port and marine infrastructure. Total revenues for the contracts are $63 million.

Dockwise Shipping is transporting the jackupsCOSL Craft, Shelf Explorer, Seajacks Leviathan, and Gorilla III to their new assignments in China, Sakhalin, Netherlands, and Canada respectively.

On behalf of various clients, Dockwise Shipping has been contracted to transport four cranes, dredging equipment, a jackup working platform, and an accommodation barge to the US, Equatorial Guinea, Egypt, and Angola respectively. All contracts will be executed in the second, third, and fourth quarter.

In the second half of the year, the company is transporting the semisubmersibleVictoria to Brazil. In 2010, Dockwise Shipping will transport the semisubmersible La Muralla to Mexico.
