ABERDEEN, UK – Oil and gas asset management software developer Arnlea has secured three contracts in the northwest Europe area.

Two are five-year contracts from two North Sea operators for deployment of the company’s mobile software inspection and maintenance product Intrinsix Ex for use on 16 facilities.

In addition, Shell in Ireland has ordered Intrinsix Ex and Intrinsix I&M, a general inspection and maintenance tool.

Jim Steele, head of business development at Arnlea, said the clients were looking to make additional efficiencies, support their compliance agenda, and improve the flow of operations.

“Our products are easy to use in the field of operations, while at the same time provide up-to-date information for decision-makers responsible for management, inspection and asset integrity,” he added.

Last year, the company signed agreements for use of its software withChevron and Chrysaor.

Intrinsix software is offered on a license-to-use basis, providing clients with the security of regular upgrades whenever when industry standards are changed.

Arnlea also provided modules of Intrinsix for inspection and maintenance outwith hazardous environments (which Shell has committed to) and for materials management. The solutions employ mobile auto-ID technology such as RFID, barcodes, tablets and smartphones.
