Wood Group contracted to support NeptuneTLP

Wood Group Production Services has been awarded a $4 million contract by BHP Billiton to develop a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) as well as prepare operating manuals and start-up procedures for the Neptune project.

(US, GoM) - Wood Group Production Services (WGPS), a subsidiary of John Wood Group PLC (Wood Group), has been awarded a $4 million contract by BHP Billiton Petroleum (Americas), Inc. to develop a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) as well as prepare operating manuals and start-up procedures for the Neptune project.

Neptune is a deepwater oil and gas field located in the central GoM, approximately 120 mi off the Louisiana coast. Neptune joint venture partners are BHP Billiton (operator); Marathon Oil Corp.; Woodside Energy (USA) Inc., a subsidiary of Woodside Petroleum Ltd.; and Maxus (US) Exploration, a subsidiary of Repsol YPF.
