LUXEMBOURGShell has awarded Subsea 7 an EPCI contract for the Shearwater Fulmar Gas Line Re-Plumb project in the UK central North Sea, 140 mi (225 km) east of Aberdeen.

The work scope covers provision of a 37-km (23-mi), 24-in. export line, a 14-in. rigid riser, control jumper, subsea structures, and associated subsea tie-ins.

Project management, engineering and procurement has started in Aberdeen, supported by Subsea 7’s office in Glasgow, and offshore activities are scheduled for 2019.
