Subsea7 and Worley have secured new offshore contracts in Asia-Pacific, with Shell Brunei awarding a pipeline replacement EPCI project and INPEX selecting Worley for engineering services across its Australian operations.

Shell Brunei pipeline replacement project moves forward

Brunei Shell Petroleum has awarded Subsea7 an engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contract for a pipeline replacement project offshore Brunei. 

The scope covers the installation of a subsea pipeline and riser system that will serve offshore production centers in water depths of up to 50 m. The project is designed to support the continued integrity and reliability of the operator's offshore production infrastructure. 

Subsea7 will manage the project and engineering activities from its Kuala Lumpur office, supported by teams in Perth, Paris and other global locations. 

Shell has operated offshore Brunei assets for decades through Brunei Shell Petroleum, one of the country's largest energy producers. The latest award highlights continued investment in maintaining and upgrading mature offshore infrastructure in Southeast Asia.

INPEX awards engineering services agreement in Australia

In Australia, INPEX has awarded Worley a framework services agreement covering engineering support for the operator's projects. 

Worley will execute the work from its Perth office with support from its Global Integrated Delivery team in Mumbai. 

The agreement strengthens Worley's long-standing relationship with INPEX, one of Australia's largest upstream operators. INPEX is a major participant in the Ichthys LNG development, one of the country's largest energy projects, and continues to advance a range of oil, gas and lower-carbon initiatives across the region.
