LUXEMBOURGSubsea 7 has secured a three-year extension of a dive support vessel services frame agreement with seven North Sea clients.

These are Chevron North Sea, Dana Petroleum (E&P), Hess Denmark, Nexen Petroleum U.K., Repsol Sinopec Energy UK, Shell UK, and TAQA Bratani.

Subsea 7 will continue to provide the services year-round along with associated project management and engineering services for up to 50 offshore facilities.

The original frame agreement was awarded to the company in 2009, and earlier this year, Shell UK became the seventh operator to come onboard.

All the operators are said to benefit from enhanced efficiency through sharing of services ranging from diver and ROV inspection, repair and maintenance, subsea construction and decommissioning services, to long-term project support.

Subsea 7 manages the program from its Aberdeen office.
