EL DORADO, Arkansas – Murphy Oil has submitted a drilling permit to Mexico’s Comisión Nacional de Hidrocarburos (CNH) for the deepwater block 5 exploration plan in the Gulf of Mexico.
The company plans to spud a well on the exploration prospect during 1Q 2019.
Around the same time the company expects to start drilling the LDT-1X well in block 15-01/05 in the Cuu Long basin offshore Vietnam.
