ABERDEEN, UK – Excelerate Energy and MISC Berhad (MISC) have expanded their agreement with Bureau Veritas (BV), using Veristar AIM3D software.

This covers asset integrity services across the two company’s offshore vessels, including Excelerate’s FSRUExcellence and MISC’s FSO Benchamas 2 and FPSOs MaMPU1 and Cendor.

Veristar AIM3D, developed in partnership with Dassault Systèmes, is a full-life cycle software that incorporates a 3D digital twin of the asset with smart data processing through a collaborative platform.

According to BV, the software helps companies better understand their risks and opex exposure, allowing them to improve safety and the overall performance of their fleet, as well as cutting opex.

For the new agreement, both execution teams will use the software to plan interventions, provide onboard contractors with detailed work instructions, and to assess their assets’ conditions.
