PARIS – MISC Berhad and Excelerate Energy have contracted Bureau Veritas (BV) to deploy Veristar AIM3D software to provide asset integrity services on various vessels.

MISC Berhad will deploy the software onChevron’s FSOBenchamas 2 in the Gulf of Thailand and the FPSOs MaMPU1 and Cendor.

Veristar AIM3D is a full life-cycle asset integrity management system developed in partnership with Dassault Systèmes and released in April 2017.

Its 3D features allow a digital twin of assets to be created with smart data processing via a connected platform to allow data collection, updates, visualization, and data processing.

MISC Offshore’s integrity management teams will use the service to plan interventions, provide onboard contractors with detailed work instructions, and to continuously assess asset condition.

According to BV, the implementation should lead to a new way of working in a collaborative environment that will encourage smarter decision making, improved performance, cost optimization, and better risk management.

Excelerate will deploy it on the FSRUExcellence, which will be deployed on the new Moheshkhali floating LNG import terminal in Bangladesh.

BV will deliver the software to Excelerate in the cloud mode, without the need for IT integration.

Matthieu de-Tugny, COO of Bureau Veritas, Marine & Offshore, said: “Veristar AIM3D provides a unique platform for clients to understand hull condition, anticipate risks and plan maintenance to reduce opex.”
