PSA gives go-ahead for Oda-Ula tieback

The Petroleum Safety Authority has granted Aker BP consent to connect the Oda field to the Ula field in the southern Norwegian North Sea.

OSLO, Norway – The Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) has granted Aker BP consent to connect the Oda field to the Ula field in the southern Norwegian North Sea.

TheCentrica Resources-operated Oda field is to be developed as a subsea facility tied back to the Aker BP-operated Ula field.

Discovered in 2011, theplan for development and operation for the Oda field was submitted to the authorities in November 2016. Production is scheduled to begin in 3Q 2019.
