LARNACA, Cyprus – Prosafe has updated information on contract awards for the Safe Bristolia and Safe Astoria vessels.
Prosafe andBG Group have agreed a change to the Safe Bristolia accommodation support vessel work program in 2014 to allow inclusion of a contract award from ConocoPhillips Petroleum Co. UK Ltd. for the provision of the vessel at the Judy platform in the UK sector of the North Sea.
Operations at Judy are planned to begin in May for a firm period of four months. Thereafter, in September, theSafe Bristolia will relocate to BG Group’s Everest platform for a firm period of approximately three months. As a result, the overall work program for the vessel increases by 24 days and has a value of $8.3 million.
Swiber has awarded Prosafe a 60-day contract for the Safe Astoria. The contract has been extended by a firm period of 43 days at the same dayrate, and the contract value of the extension is $4.7 million.
