CGG’s OBN 3D Survey Delivers Exceptional Subsalt Images in the Gulf of Mexico

CGG announced the first multi-client ocean bottom node 3D survey in the Gulf of Mexico–Herschel field in the Mississippi Canyon. The remarkable high-resolution results were obtained using fully data-driven time-lag FWI, least squares Q Migration and full waveform inversion imaging techniques. These cutting-edge processing technologies matched with OBN data are key components for optimal subsalt imaging.
