IKM Testing providing engineering support for North Sea Triton FPSO

The terms of the company’s new contract include engineering modification and shutdown services, where required.

The three-year fixed-term agreement, which includes extension options, will see IKM Testing provide a comprehensive scope of offshore shutdown services.

Dana Petroleum (E&P) has asked IKM Testing UK to perform offshore shutdown support services on the Triton FPSO in the UK central North Sea, located on the UK Continental Shelf.

Under the three-year contract, IKM Testing will undertake a wide range of tasks including vessel entries, valve and PSV replacements, and engineering modifications, and it will also provide general outage support.

The FPSO handles production from multiple fields in the area.
