All Energies Services takes delivery of offshore crew transfer vessel

Strategic Marine has delivered its first Surface Effect Ship (SES) to All Energies Services (AES) for crew transfers within the offshore oil and gas sector.

The development was a collaboration with AES, AIRCAT Vessels and ESNA – Espeland and Skomedal Naval Architects.

The 35-m-long SES vessel can reach speeds of more than 50 knots and undertake offshore transfers in sea conditions of up to 2.5 m.

Other features include a reinforced hull and active motion dampening technology, low noise and vibration levels with reduced motions, due to the vessel’s active air cushion.
