LOCKPORT, LouisianaBordelon Marine LLC says that it has renewed the charter agreement with Oceaneering International Inc. for the MV Brandon Bordelon, a 260-ft DP2 Jones Act compliant ultra-light intervention vessel.

The renewal calls for an additional two-year firm term plus a one-year additional option. The charter agreement renewal commenced in March 2024. The vessel is mobilized with two Oceaneering Millennium Plus work-class ROVs and Oceaneering survey equipment and technology.

Bordelon Marine says that the Brandon Bordelon is typically used to conduct a variety of activities including ROV and diving support, pre-lay and post-lay mat installation, well abandonment and wireline services, hydrate remediation, and subsea pumping. The company says that the vessel can also perform inspection, maintenance, and repair (IMR) activities as well as light construction and installation services.

Wes Bordelon, CEO and president of Bordelon Marine, said the Brandon Bordelon is “ideally suited to support Oceaneering’s light subsea intervention and IMR [work] scopes.”
