ABERDEEN, UK – Maersk Oil has awarded iSURVEY a four-year survey and positioning contract, extendable by 12 months, to support rig move operations at the operator’s assets in the Danish North Sea.
The contract may be broadened to mobilization and demobilization of a rig outside the Danish sector, and to rig positioning services over a subsea well.
Andrew McMurtrie, managing director of iSURVEY Offshore Ltd., said: “Whilst activity will depend on the level of drilling taking place,Maersk Oil Danish Business Unit uses a number of jackup rigs in the Danish sector so we expect this to be a productive contract.”
