Offshore staff
CHENNAI, India -- Aban Offshore Ltd. has received a letter of intent from ROC Oil (China) Co. for deployment of jackup rig Murmanskaya for work offshore China.
TheMurmanskaya will drill a program of four firm wells and two optional wells.
The jackup is likely to start mobilizing to the location by Oct. 2007, Aban says.
