StatoilHydro has chartered the platform supply vessel Siddis Skipper from Siem Offshore, under a firm three-year contract valued at $32 million.

STAVANGER, Norway --StatoilHydro has chartered the platform supply vessel Siddis Skipper from Siem Offshore, under a firm three-year contract valued at $32 million.
The vessel, owned 51% by Siem, will be upgraded with a DP-2 dynamic positioning system, and will perform general support and standby rescue tasks. The charter will start early next year.
