SINGAPORE -- OSX Brazil has contracted Keppel Shipyard to modify the FPSO OSX-1, which will work for OGX in Brazil's Campos basin under a 20-year lease.

Keppel’s $37-million program includes procurement, detailed engineering, and modification of the topside process modules.

It will work closely with BW Offshore, which is providing project management, engineering services, and technical guidance services to the vessel’s owner, OSX 1 Leasing B.V.

The FPSO is due to leave Singapore for Brazil in 2Q 2011.
