ROTTERDAM, The Netherlands -- A contract for transportation and temporary dry docking for jackup Trident XIV was signed by Transocean with Fairmount Heavy Transport N.V.
The $3.3-million contract calls for the jackup to be loaded onto theFairmount Fjell offshore West Africa and off-loaded before year-end.
Fairmount also reportedly has signed a contract wtih Gulf Drilling International Ltd. to move the jackupAl-Khor from Singapore to Qatar on the semisubmersible barge Ocean Orc.
