Offshore staff
OSLO, Norway -- Aker Yards has contracted wtih Dofcon to build two large construction vessels at Soviknes, Norway.
One vessel is an Aker OSCV 06 L design for delivery in 2Q09. It will be 153 m long with DP Class 3 and Ice Class. Maximum speed will be 18.5 knots.
The other vessel, for 2Q08 deliver, is 118 m long, DP Class 3 and will have a 250 metric ton offshore crane.
