EZRA wins contracts for four deepwater AHTS

Singapore's offshore support and marine services provider EZRA Holdings Ltd. has secured contracts for four of its deepwater anchor handling, towing, and supply vessels.

(Asia-Pacific) - Singapore's offshore support and marine services provider EZRA Holdings Ltd. has secured contracts for four of its deepwater anchor handling, towing, and supply vessels.

Estimated to be worth about $58.85 million, the contracts are for a minimum one year on average, and a maximum five years, excluding extension options averaging eight months.

The value of the firm portion is about $42.4 million, and the extension options are worth $10.2 million, says EZRA.

EZRA says it operates one of the youngest fleets of specialized vessels serving Asia's offshore oil & gas industry and is in the midst of expanding the fleet to 31 by end of financial year 2008 from its current 16.
