Offshore staff
OSLO-- Island Offshore has awarded STX Europe contracts totaling $137 million for the construction of two platform supply vessels. The vessels will be based on the Rolls-Royce UT 776 CD design and are number five and six in a series for Island Offshore.
The vessels are scheduled for delivery in 4Q 2011 and 1Q 2012. The hulls will be built in Romania and outfitted in Norway.
