Maersk Oil Qatar’s contract with the FSO Knock Nevis has expired.

OSLO -- Maersk Oil Qatar’s contract with the FSO Knock Nevis has expired. According to owner Fred Olsen Production, the vessel will remain on the Al Shaheen field for a few more weeks to perform washing out of crude storage tanks before completing de-mobilization.
Fred Olsen will continue to market the Knock Nevis for other projects around the world, although the vessel will have to undergo a Special Class survey before starting any new assignment.
