Seadrill exits offshore Qatar drilling venture

HAMILTON, Bermuda — Seadrill has completed the sale of the jackup rigs to Gulf Drilling International (GDI) for $338 million.

It has also transferred its 50% interest in the joint venture that operates the West Castor, West Telesto, and West Tucana jackups offshore Qatar to GDI.
