Ithaca extends contract for Athena FPSO

Ithaca Energy has extended BW Offshore’s contract for the FPSO BW Athena, which serves the Athena oil field in the UK central North Sea.

OSLO, Norway – Ithaca Energy has extended BW Offshore’s contract for the FPSOBW Athena, which serves the Athena oil field in the UK central North Sea.

The primary term of the contract, due to expire in 2Q 2015, has been prolonged by up to five years. Ithaca also has the right to terminate the contract on a rolling 12-month notice basis.
