DALLAS -- Keppel FELS has finalized a $537-million construction contract with a subsidiary of ENSCO International for the ENSCO 8505 ultra deepwater semisubmersible rig.

Construction will take place at Keppel FELS' shipyard in Singapore, with delivery expected in the first half of 2012.
