Offshore Intrepid contracted for ME operations

The Offshore Intrepid, chartered by Odfjell Drilling Services (ODS), has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) for operations in the Arabian Gulf beginning in 2Q 2009.

HAMILTON, Bermuda -- The Offshore Intrepid, chartered by Odfjell Drilling Services (ODS), has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) for operations in the Arabian Gulf beginning in 2Q 2009. The LOI was issued by Al-Khafji Joint Operations to ODS. The contract duration is 41 months, says Scorpion Offshore.

TheOffshore Intrepid is under construction at Keppel AmFELS in Brownsville, Texas, and is scheduled for delivery on Jan. 24, 2009.
