MOSCOW – Rosneft has held talks with China Shipbuilding & Offshore Co. concerning supply of a load-out barge to the Zvezda Shipyard.
The 40,000-ton barge is currently under construction and will be deployed at the yard which is building two ice-reinforced multi-purpose supply vessels for use inRosneft projects in the Russian Arctic.
According to Rosneft, the Chinese parties will develop the design documentation for the barge and manufacture and test the dock in the town of Bolshoi Kamen, as well as providing training for the crew.
