KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – Perisai Petroleum has won a contract to provide, lease, operate, and maintain an FPSO offshore Malaysia.
This will serve as the early production system for a development in theNorth Malay basin.
Larizz andHess have agreed to extend the charter of the Perisai Kamelia for this purpose by six months to May 31, 2017. Hess Exploration and Production Malaysia has the option to further extend the charter on a monthly basis for up to 12 months to May 31, 2018.
Value of the extension will probably be in the range of $31.95-45 million, depending on the Brent crude oil price.
