Second compressor online on offshore Gabon FPSO

OSLO, Norway — BW Energy has started operating the new gas-lift compressor on the BW Adolo FPSO on the Dussafu Marin permit offshore Gabon, following commissioning and a gradual ramp-up of gas-lift capacity over the past few weeks. 

It is the second gas-lift compressor unit installed on the FPSO to support production from the six Tortue Field wells. When fully operational, it should boost output by about 3,000 bbl/d of oil.
