AUGSBURG, Germany  Yinson in Kuala Lumpur has commissioned MAN Energy Solutions to supply five centrifugal compressor trains for gas production and export at the Jubarte Field in the northern Campos Basin offshore Brazil.

All will be deployed on the FPSO Maria Quitéria (ex-Integrado Parque das Baleias), 80 km off the coast of Anchieta, Espírito Santo in 1,300 m water depth.

The vessel, due to be ready for operation at year-end 2024, will have a daily production capacity of 100,000 bbl of oil and 5 MMcm of gas.

MAN Energy Solutions' scope of supply comprises three radial compressor trains type RB 45 as low-pressure systems and two type RB 28 as high-pressure systems, each driven by an electric motor.

These will serve gas export and gas-lift operations, maximizing the flow rate and efficiency of the gas production, MAN said.

In addition, the company will provide two SKUEL321/CP200 screw compressor trains driven by electric motors and used as vapor recovery units.

The resulting flash gas will be pressurized by the screw compressors and fed back into the process rather than being flared, helping to limit CO2 emissions.
