Offshore staff
SANDSLI, Norway — Island Drilling Co.’s semisub Island Innovator has sailed from Mauritania, where it has been supporting Tullow Oil on an offshore decommissioning program, to Hanøytangen.
On arrival, it will prepare for a contract with Dana Petroleum in the UK North Sea, where the rig will perform coiled tubing tasks.
The Mauritania project involved P&A operations in a water depth of 1,200 m.
Onboard equipment includes a 165-MM t capable active heave compensated crane.
