KENC supports crane upgrades studies for Cadeler wind vessel

OLDENZAAL, the Netherlands — KENC Engineering has completed an assignment from GustoMSC for Cadeler’s jackup vessel Wind Orca.

This involved providing detailed engineering support for the vessel’s new heavy-lift crane.

KENC’s duties relates to the secondary steel (stairs, platforms, access to maintenance locations) of the boom and A-frame.

Wind Orca has now a total lifting capacity of 1,600 metric tons, compared with the previous 1,200 metric tons.
